USA Basketball Trip
The 2nd of two trips to the USA during the break between terms saw a group of Basketball students visiting a range of iconic locales, training, playing and living the American Dream.
Science hangi
Students in 9MH got their hands dirty learning about the various scientific principles involved in the making of a hangi. Students were therefore able to feast upon delicious hangi as well as the fruits of knowledge!

Writing Week
Year 9 Writing Week allows students to collaborate as a class on a themed writing portfolio. Employing a variety of writing genres as well as visual communication in the form of an eye catching display, the event sees it's climax with an eruption of creative talents in the library at the end of the week.

Noscars
Selling out this year in a record two and a bit days, the Noscars has become one of the most sought after and highly anticipated events in the school calendar. Relishing the chance to get dressed up for the occasion, students and staff take over the Embassy Theatre for a night of Hollywood style glitz, glamour and fantastic film making. Featured below are the winners of the two premier Noscars, Waste winning Best Film and Burnie's Isle receiving the Audience Choice award. Year 11 Semi-Formal
Term 3 builds to a climactic final week with several high profile events. Hot on the heels of the Noscars was the Year 11 semi-formal. Students danced the night away at the Westpac Stadium, home of sporting legends and alongside some Newlands College legends as well. Click here for photos.
